Black Diamond Grip Application Kit - Pro (Roller/File/Awl/Cutter)
Description
The Black Diamond Grip Application Kit, Pro includes a roller, file, awl, and knife. It contains every tool you need to grip your board. Period. Aesthetically speaking, there's nothing better than looking down at a perfect grip job.
The roller smooths out your grip for maximum bond and eliminates air bubbles, and saves the skin on your hands. It has a soft polyurethane handle, an alloy body that stands up to serious pressure, and real 55mm skateboard wheels, so if you blow out a bearing at the spot, you've got two spares built in. The file runs along the top edges of your deck to create an abrasive outline, making the cut easier and more accurate. Its 6" round steel file has a grooved surface for maximum abrasion, engineered to hold up to silicon carbide griptape, and the rubber-coated handle keeps you from slipping. The awl does two jobs: poke holes through the griptape for your mounting bolts, and get rid of pesky air bubbles. A natural wood handle gives a comfortable, ergonomic grip, and the contoured 6" poker gets it right the first time. The knife is a credit-card-size folding griptape knife. Three folds turn the card into a pocket utility tool that's thinner, lighter, and sharp as a scalpel, with a surgical steel blade and an extra-long 65mm cutting edge (a conventional utility blade is 25mm).
