Snot Skateboard Wheels 53mm Sox Lemon Drops Conical 99A Yellow

I picked up the Snot Sox Lemon Drops (53mm, 99A conical) hoping for a versatile street/park wheel, and they're... fine. Not bad, not great — solidly middle of the road.

The good: The 99A duro gives a nice balance of grip and slide, and they roll smooth on decent pavement. The conical shape keeps the flatspot risk down a bit compared to a full round profile, and the lemon-yellow colorway looks sharp against most deck setups. Price point is fair for what you get.

The not-so-good: On rougher ground or cracked sidewalk cruising, they transmit more vibration than I'd like — no urethane formula magic happening here. I also noticed some slight flat-spotting after a couple weeks of regular powerslides, which isn't ideal for a wheel in this duro range. They're a bit loud too, more than comparable wheels I've run at this size.

Bottom line: Solid entry-level or backup set, especially if you're mostly cruising smooth surfaces or doing light street skating. If you're looking for a daily-driver park wheel or something that'll hold up to aggressive slides, you might want to look at a step up in urethane quality. Good, not great — 3 stars.
