Description

The Ballisdisc SP ACP putter is an overstable, flat-top approach putter, molded in SP plastic. It's built for players who want a dependable approach disc for backhands and forehands, and it's at its best on torque-resistant short approaches. Ballisdisc discs are made right here in Michigan by a Metro Detroit company.

SP Plastic

Ballisdisc SP plastic is a durable premium blend made in Michigan, offering reliable grip and long-lasting performance.

About Ballisdisc

Ballisdisc is a Michigan-based disc golf manufacturer founded in 2023 by brothers-in-law Bobby Walter and Christopher Denovchek. Operating out of the Metro Detroit area, the company combines their professional backgrounds in the plastic injection molding industry with a passion for disc golf. As a Metro Detroit shop ourselves, we're proud to carry discs made right here in Michigan.

The Mold

The ACP is an overstable, flat-top approach putter that's great for backhand or forehand short-distance throws that need torque resistance and a nice end-fade. Rated 3/3/0/2, it has no high-speed turn, moderate glide, and a dependable fade, so it resists flipping on aggressive releases and finishes predictably near your target.

Stability

The ACP is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It works for players of all levels as an approach disc, especially on forehands and in the wind.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 3 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 3 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 2 A moderate, dependable fade at the end of the flight.
