by
Innova
SKU: DG-INV-DX-MK3 (REF1296-88)
Description
The Innova DX Mako3 midrange is a straight-flying, dead-neutral midrange, molded in DX plastic. It's built for players who want a straight, easy-to-control flight, and it's at its best on straight, true-to-release mid shots. If you're shopping for a dependable Mako3 for your bag, this DX run is a great place to start.
DX Plastic
DX is Innova's value plastic, offered in the widest selection of models and weights. It provides excellent grip in a variety of weather, and it wears in with use, gradually taking on new flight characteristics. Many top pros carry several DX discs of their favorite models for different flight patterns.
The Mold
The Mako3 is a straight, neutral midrange that holds the line you release it on, with no turn and no fade, making it a true-to-release choice for controlled mid shots and approaches.
Stability
The Mako3 is neutral. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.
