Description

The Powell Peralta Retro K26 Flight Deck puts the Retro K26 graphic on Powell's Flight construction: thinner, stronger, and longer lasting than a standard 7-ply. It's shape 244 with K21 concave, measuring 8.5" x 32.08" with a 14.375" wheelbase.

Who This Deck Is For

  • All-around street and park skaters
  • Powell Peralta fans
  • Skaters who want a deck that outlasts a 7-ply
  • Skaters building a custom setup around their own trucks and wheels

Features

  • Flight construction: U.S. hard rock maple, fiberglass, and AirLam with epoxy
  • Shape 244, K21 concave
  • 8.5" x 32.08" with a 14.375" wheelbase
  • Made in the USA (Ventura, CA)

Benefits

  • Thinner and stronger than a 7-ply, per Powell
  • Pop that doesn't fade as the deck wears
  • Warranted by SkateOne against delamination for its useful life
  • Exact shape number, width, and wheelbase listed so you can match trucks before you buy

Why Flight Decks

Powell Peralta builds Flight decks differently from a standard 7-ply, using U.S. hard rock maple, high-strength fiberglass, and AirLam fused with epoxy resin. According to Powell:

  • Thinner: as thin as your phone.
  • Stronger: more than twice as strong in Powell's tail break tests.
  • Longer lasting: the epoxy-infused, fiber-reinforced structure is extremely resistant to breaking and gives "everlasting pop" that doesn't fade as the deck wears.
  • Higher ollies: greater rebound and snap.

Powell's team testing suggests Flight decks last several times longer than a 7-ply. They're made in the USA at Powell's factory in Ventura, CA, and warranted by SkateOne against delamination for their useful life.

Great deck. At 200+ lbs, I feel like it's going to last me longer than other boards in the past.
