Description

The Axiom Cosmic Electron Tempo putter is Axiom's overstable, low-profile putt and approach disc, molded in Cosmic Electron plastic. It's built for players who want a dependable approach disc for breezy days, and it's at its best on windy approaches and consistent approach angles. If you're shopping for a dependable Tempo for your bag, this Cosmic Electron run is a great place to start.

Cosmic Electron Plastic

Cosmic Electron is MVP's high-tech Electron plastic with unique Cosmic Ray patterns and multi-tone colors, so every disc looks a little different. It has the same tactile, grippy blend as standard Electron, and your Tempo gains glide and a more neutral flight as it wears. It comes in soft, medium, and firm flexibility. The Tempo is also available in Electron, Electron Firm, Electron Soft and Neutron.

The Mold

The Tempo is a 21.2 cm putt and approach disc with an 11 mm rim. It excels as an overstable putt and approach disc thanks to its low profile and flat flight plate. Power throwers may see a little turn before the torque resistance and reliable fade kick in for its forward-pushing finish. Lower-power throwers get a straight-to-overstable disc that's great for windy days and consistent approach angles. It's arguably become Jeremy "Big Jerm" Koling's disc of choice.

Stability

The Tempo is overstable. Overstable discs resist turning over and fade hard at the end, which makes them predictable in wind and at high power. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it resists turning over and finishes with a strong, dependable fade to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with that hard fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's best suited to intermediate and advanced players, and it's a valuable utility disc for anyone who plays in wind.
