Description

The Discraft Rubber Blend Luna putter is Paul McBeth's neutral-flying putter, molded in Rubber Blend plastic. It's built for players on wooded and open courses alike, and it's at its best on confident putts and controlled approaches. This one features TGM's custom Spirit of Detroit stamp.

Rubber Blend Plastic

Discraft's rubber blend combines fan-favorite Jawbreaker with the durability and extra tackiness of rubber.

The Spirit of Detroit Stamp

This Luna carries our custom Spirit of Detroit stamp, a design TGM Skateboards created with Discraft. It's our way of honoring the city: The Spirit of Detroit, the iconic bronze statue by Marshall Fredericks that has stood downtown since 1958, has long been a symbol of Detroit's people and their determination. Pairing it with a Michigan-made Discraft disc felt like the perfect way to celebrate the city and the Metro Detroit disc golf community we're proud to be part of here in Mt. Clemens.

You get the same trusted flight and plastic as any other Rubber Blend Luna, with a stamp you won't find on the standard release. It's a great pick for your own bag, a gift for a Detroit fan, or a piece of local pride for your collection.

The Mold

The Luna is a great neutral flying putter, making it a staple for heavily wooded and open style courses. This control allows The Luna to take advantage of any angle or putting style and showcase it at its full potential. You may have noticed the flight numbers on the Luna have been updated. This is to better reflect the true flight of Luna, the disc mold has not changed.

Stability

The Luna is neutral-to-stable. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. This run is rated 3/4/0/1, with less fade than the standard 3/4/0/2. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 3 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 4 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 1 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
