SKU: DG-INV-DX-ALN (REF1475 *AST**7)
Description
The Innova DX Alien putter is Innova's one-of-a-kind multi-purpose disc, molded in DX plastic. It's built for players who want a predictable, reliable flight, and it's at its best on spin putts, approaches, and short drives. If you're shopping for a dependable Alien for your bag, this DX run is a great place to start.
DX Plastic
DX is Innova's value plastic, offered in the widest selection of models and weights. It provides excellent grip in a variety of weather, and it wears in with use, gradually taking on new flight characteristics. Many top pros carry several DX discs of their favorite models for different flight patterns.
The Mold
The Alien has a top like a Sonic and a rim like a midrange, which makes it surprisingly stable, maybe even a tad overstable. It thrives on spin putts, approach shots, and short-range drives, and it's so unique Innova brought back the "Multi Purpose" category for it. It's one of Innova's top recommendations for a one-disc round.
Stability
The Alien is stable. Stable discs fly straight for most of their flight and finish with a dependable fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with a reliable fade to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with the fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight.
