Description

The MVP Electron Anode putter is MVP's beadless, point-and-shoot putter, molded in Electron plastic. It's built for players of any skill level who want a putter that goes exactly where it's aimed, and it's at its best on inside-the-circle putts and long, straight approach shots. If you're shopping for a dependable Anode for your bag, this Electron run is a great place to start.

Electron Plastic

Electron is MVP's high-tech take on baseline plastic. It has a matte, chalky feel with a tactile, ultra-grippy texture that holds up in rain, cold, and morning dew, which is exactly what you want from a disc you'll throw all year in Michigan. It's designed to wear slowly, and as your Anode picks up a few battle scars it gains a little glide and flies straighter. It's still overmolded with MVP's GYRO rim, so it keeps the line-holding feel GYRO fans expect. Compared to Neutron and Proton, Electron is the grippiest and most broken-in feeling, while those premium blends hold their out-of-the-box flight longer.

The Mold

The Anode is a 21 cm putt and approach disc with an 11 mm rim. The clean, beadless rim and deep profile release smoothly off the fingers for every putting style, whether you spin, push, or spush. It shines on straight putts, but it's just as useful as an approach disc: long, smooth hyzer and anhyzer lines are easy to shape, and it holds the angle you release it on rather than fighting back. It isn't built for headwinds, so save it for calm conditions and controlled lines.

Stability

The Anode is neutral. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 2.5 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 3 Moderate glide that carries without sailing past the target.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 0.5 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
