Description

The next great experiment from MVP R&D Lab, the Glitch is a hybrid catch disc designed to blur the lines between disc golf and a catch disc. The Glitch has the diameter of a putter and is PDGA approved as well, making it truly the best of both worlds. With flight numbers of 1 | 7 | 0 | 0, the Glitch is the first MVP disc with 7 glide — just a flick of the wrist is all that stands between you and a game of catch on the beach or an approach to the green! Neutron Soft plastic makes the Glitch easily catchable when throwing around with a friend, but it also makes the Glitch an awesome approach or scramble disc because of its tendency to sit where it lands.

The MVP Neutron Soft Glitch hybrid catch putter is MVP's hybrid catch disc and PDGA-approved putter, molded in Neutron Soft plastic. It's built for new players, lower-power throwers, and anyone who also loves a game of catch, and it's at its best on soft approaches, scramble shots, and catch on the beach.

Neutron Soft Plastic

Neutron Soft gives you the durability and bright, opaque colors of MVP's flagship Neutron blend with a softer, more flexible feel in the hand. That extra flex helps the disc settle where it lands instead of skipping away, which is a big plus on approaches and scrambles. Like standard Neutron, it holds its flight for a long time, and the GYRO overmold keeps it on line. The Glitch is also available in Eclipse.

What Is Project Lab Coat?

Project Lab Coat (PLC) is MVP's lineup refresh, making sure their discs are the best they can be today, not what made sense a decade ago. Many stock stamps were 10 to 15 years old, so PLC brings new designs built on MVP's multi-foil stamping. Starting in 2026, every MVP plastic line moves to a white GYRO rim.

Why it's a win: the flight and plastic don't change. PLC discs come from the same molds and plastic, made in the same Marlette, Michigan facility, so this Glitch flies just like the pre-PLC "Classics," with a fresh look and a white rim that's easier to spot on the course.

The Mold

The Glitch is a 21.2 cm hybrid catch disc with a 7 mm rim. The Glitch is a hybrid catch disc with the diameter of a putter, and it's PDGA approved. With 7 glide, it's the first MVP disc to carry that rating. Its neutral flight path makes it a great first disc to learn with, especially for players with Ultimate backgrounds. Available from 140 to 154 grams, it still has enough stability and glide to be a useful tool on the course.

Stability

The Glitch is neutral. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 1 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 7 Huge glide that floats a long way with little effort.
Turn 0 No high-speed turn, so it holds its line early in flight.
Fade 0 No fade, so it finishes straight.
