Climo Disc Golf Prototype Signature Line Coast Midrange 6/6/-1/1 - Choose Exact Disc
Description
The Climo Signature Line Coast midrange is Ken Climo's glidey 6-speed midrange, molded in Signature Line plastic. It's built for shot shapers who want a fast, glidey midrange, and it's at its best on long, glidey mid lines. Climo Disc Golf discs are designed by 12x World Champion Ken Climo, "The Champ," in partnership with Discraft. This listing is the Prototype release of the Coast.
Signature Line Plastic
Signature Line is a premium blend that builds on the trusted Major Line with a few key tweaks: a slightly stiffer feel and a jaw-dropping marbled, swirl look. Visuals vary from disc to disc, so every one is unique. Major Line is named for Ken's 18 PDGA Major wins, more than any other player in history, and it's Climo Disc Golf's flagship plastic.
The Mold
Ken Climo's vision for the 6th Climo Disc Golf mold was simple: a slightly faster midrange to pair with the Belleair, torque resistant but not too overstable, with excellent glide and a slight dome. Named for the Florida coast of Ken's hometown, the Coast bridges the gap between the 5-speed Belleair and the 7-speed Streak. It doesn't take a lot of power to get it coasting down the fairway, and with that extra speed and glide, it might have you wondering if it's a fairway driver. Put it on a line and watch it hold forever.
Stability
The Coast is neutral-to-stable. Neutral discs fly straight and true with very little turn or fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with only a slight drift left as it slows down. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with a gentle drift right at the finish. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It's an easy choice for beginners and a reliable tool for experienced players.
