Description

The Discmania Neo Founder midrange is Discmania's super-understable midrange, molded in Neo plastic. It's built for newer players and anyone who wants easy distance and turnovers, and it's at its best on turnovers, hyzer-flips, and rollers. If you're shopping for a dependable Founder for your bag, this Neo run is a great place to start.

Neo Plastic

Neo is a semi-translucent premium plastic and the most durable and rigid of Discmania's Evolution line plastics. It still has some flex, and its special finish gives it an awesome grip.

The Mold

The Founder is a go-to midrange for effortless distance and precision, even at lower arm speeds. Its super-understable flight is perfect for smooth turnovers, long hyzer-flips, and rollers, and it doubles as a finesse disc for shaping technical lines.

Stability

The Founder is understable. Understable discs turn away from your throwing arm at speed, making turnovers and hyzer-flips easier and helping lower-power players fly straight. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it tends to drift right during the fastest part of its flight, then shows a gentle fade back to the left. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, drifting left early and fading right at the end. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits beginners who need help getting straight flights as well as advanced players who want to shape turnovers.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 5 Midrange speed that rewards smooth form over raw power.
Glide 6 Huge glide that floats a long way with little effort.
Turn -4 Lots of turn to the right (RHBH), built for rollers and big turnovers.
Fade 1 Very little fade, so it finishes nearly straight.
