Description

The Discraft Jawbreaker Lite Zone SS putter is the straighter, more workable Zone, molded in Jawbreaker Lite plastic. It's built for players who want Zone reliability with more glide and less fade, and it's at its best on direct approaches, turnovers, and finesse forehands. This lightweight release makes the Zone SS easier to get moving.

Jawbreaker Lite Plastic

Jawbreaker is Discraft's signature putter and approach plastic, known for its candy-colored, speckled look, extra tackiness, and broken-in feel right out of the box. This Lite version brings that same grip and comfortable hand feel in a lighter weight, which makes the Zone SS easier to get moving. It's a great option for lower-power players, touch approaches, or anyone who wants an easier-to-throw disc.

The Mold

Compared to the Zone, the Zone SS carries forward longer with less fade, opening up direct approaches, smooth turnovers, finesse forehands, and controlled drives. It's a more neutral option for when the standard Zone is too overstable.

Stability

The Zone SS is stable. Stable discs fly straight for most of their flight and finish with a dependable fade. For right-hand backhand (RHBH) throwers, it flies straight with a reliable fade to the left at the end. Left-hand backhand (LHBH) throwers will see the mirror image, with the fade finishing to the right. Forehand flights flip that pattern: right-hand forehand (RHFH) follows the LHBH line and left-hand forehand (LHFH) follows the RHBH line. It suits players of every skill level who want a predictable flight. This run is rated 4/2/-1/2, while the standard Zone SS is rated 4/4/-1/2.

Flight Numbers

Rating Value What it means
Speed 4 Slow putter speed, easy to control without much power.
Glide 2 Very little glide, so it drops and stops near its target.
Turn -1 A touch of high-speed turn to the right (RHBH) for a little extra distance.
Fade 2 A moderate, dependable fade at the end of the flight.
