How to Install a Tail Bone
- Center the Tail Bone on the tail of your deck and mark the 3 holes.
- Drill through-holes in the deck big enough for the #8 screws to pass through easily and for the heads to sit snug against the deck. Getting this size right matters.
- Push the screws through the deck and into the Tail Bone. Its holes are sized as pilot holes, so the threads bite and hold.
- Add your own nuts if your setup calls for them. Nuts are not included.
